T-Shirt Soul-Match #6

Fhulmaya Gurung (26), became disabled when she was hit by a truck in her hometown of Pokhara seven years ago.
Unable to work since, not supported by her father nor brother, and having lost her mother at a young age, she moved to the nation’s capital, Kathmandu, to seek better charity and begging opportunities to survive.
Originally homeless, she was lucky to meet Basanti Buhatrai (32), an Indian single mother of Bibek (14), who befriended her and began lodging her, despite her poor situation.
Basanti lost her belongings, previous rental property and homeowner friend in the 2015 earthquake. She now struggles to rent a small room for the three of them near Swayambhunath Temple, where she spends her days generating a small income from an on-street tea-stand.

If you wish to support, contact, or meet with Fhulmaya and Basanti, message us now!
